Career Opportunities

Paediatric Occupational Therapists

Founded in 2012, Ace Children’s OT places the child and young person’s needs at the heart of the practice. We are a team of OTs who enjoy using all of our skills and knowledge in our exciting practice with clients aged between 2 – 25 years.

Our clinic space is set in tranquil countryside just outside the village of Crondall in North East Hampshire, close to Fleet and Farnham. Our work though takes us across most of Hampshire, Surrey and Berkshire.

Ideally candidates would live within these areas.

Whilst we are not currently actively recruiting, if you meet the minimum criteria below and are HCPC registered, please get in touch:

  • Band 6 and 7 Occupational Therapists
  • Minimum of 2 years post qualification essential for Band 6 and minimum of 4 years for Band 7 applicants
  • Able to work a minimum of 18 hours per week (can be flexible over days of the week) up to 37 hours
  • Car driver essential as you would be based in our rural clinic and within the community, with some working from home also available for non-direct hours such as report writing.

We would be interested to hear from those with:

  • Paediatric OT experience essential for conditions in some or all of the following: ASD, ADHD, learning disability, sensory processing difficulties, and Developmental Coordination Disorder.
  • Must be able to undertake standardised assessments such as the M-ABC, Beery, DASH, Bruininks (short format), MVPT, DVTP-3/A.
  • OTs who have worked with young adults in CAMHS who have ASD (including high functioning), ADHD and learning disability experience – issues around attachment and trauma, self-regulation, life skills, managing college, university and work environments.
  • Sensory Integration accreditation and experience a distinct advantage.

OT Students Final Placements:

We also offer placements to final year students only on BSc and MSc courses from local universities, such as Bournemouth, Winchester and Southampton.

Having the Clinic facility enables Ace to take OT students on placement. Alison was previously the clinical coordinator for her NHS team and wants to continue to offer a teaching role to pre-registration practitioners. Helen Carr is now our Lead Clinical Coordinator with other team members also trained in clinical supervision.
